The Elks unseated Roadrunner as the American League champs by defeating Flash Cleaners, 10-6. Elks’ clincher came as Gus Boisits and Guy Indyk once again shared the pitching duties while Bill Wilde led the attack with a single and double. A grand-slam homer by Pat Blanchfield was the big blow for Flash.
