Mike Sutphin pitched a strong five-hitter, had two hits and drove in the winning run. The balance of Sifford's power was provided by Jimmy Walsh and Chunky Carr, with three hits each, and Scott Goodwin, with two. Jack Lyle had two hits for a hustling Critchley team.
