Rotary took a 2-0 lead on a walk to pitcher Pat Strehl and a homer by Tim O’Brien, but that was the only hit off Critchley’s Pete Kelly. Critchley came back with a 4-run rally sparked by singles by Jack Sullivan, Scott Mangini, Rich Pickwoad and Kelly.
