Another squeaker on the same day went to Boiling Springs by the same score, 7-6. JCC was the loser. The Springers took the lead by scoring in the first inning. JCC went ahead scoring two in the home half. Boiling Springs scored twice in the second, to lead again. JCC tied it with a run in the third. The Springers scored one in the fourth to lead. Each team scored two in the fifth and one in the sixth. Dave Van Buskirk pitched and Howie Russell caught for JCC. Gil Steinberger was the Springs pitcher, George Roseman catching.
