The Lions and Elks battled for four and a half innings on Monday of last week, with the Lions scoring four runs in the top of the fifth and winning 9-3. The game was called because of darkness. Joe Vai pitched for the Lions and gave up two hits, Dave DeJoia catching. Ron Hill hurled for the Elks, with Doug Marion catching.
