Fred Dowd, pitching for Kiwanis, held JCC to three hits last Wednesday, while John Ellis, hurling for JCC, gave up only four hits, but the Kiwanis team managed to parlay their hits into two runs, while JCC could get but one tally.
Both teams made their runs in the third inning. Jim Cote, Howie Hill, and Howie Russell shared the catching for JCC. Dan Mitchell caught for Kiwanis.
