Pastori jumped off to a five-run lead in the top of the first inning over Boiling Springs, but the Springers came back with three in their half, and evened the score in the fifth. On even terms with six hits and six runs each, the game was called because of darkness in the sixth. Robinson and Lee were the Pastori battery, Monroe and Steinberger for Boiling Springs.
