On Memorial Day, Joe Rybka of Flash Cleaners pitched the first perfect game in Rutherford Little League history. He faced the minimum of 18 batters, striking out 14 of them. The Lions were the victims of this masterpiece. Frank Crescenzi and Joe Sparano each had 2 hits.
