On Sunday evening Kiwanis took on Boiling Springs with the winner taking the league lead. Jerry Devlin opposed Louie Conant. Kiwanis jumped Louie in the 1st inning for 4 runs and held on for the win, 9-5. Dick DeLaney, Ronnie Ryder and Carl Lienes each chipped in with 2 hits. Mason Carter slammed 2 doubles for the losers.
