On Thursday, May 1, Pastori took on the Boiling Springs team. Johnny Boyle went to the mound for Pastori while the Springers used Doug Collins. Boiling Springs jumped off to a lead but couldn’t hold it. They were battered for 4 runs in a typical Pastori uprising.
