In the second game Pasquin, the defending A.L. champs, met the Elks. The Elks jumped on Richie Allen for 5 runs in the first 2 innings then beat back a tremendous 6th inning rally by Pasquin who pushed 4 runs across before being stopped. Ron Giordano, the Elks chucker, went all the way for the win.
