Pasquin climaxed a really fine drive with their 7-1 win Monday. After dropping their first six games of the season, the Pasquin squad played .500 ball the rest of the way, picking up credit for two wins during the past week.
Pasquin made no bones about closing out the season with a win Monday, pouring three runs across in the first, and adding four more in the fourth as Matawa limited the Lions to one run and five hits in gaining his fifth win.
Jack Sloan singled to lead off the first frame Pasquin rally, followed by successive singles by Duke Matawa and Rich Fitzgerald, and three walks to bring in three runs.
