On Monday The Legion dropped the Elks out of first place temporarily by virtue of an 11-0 whitewash job dished up from the mound by Bob Dziadosz.
Two runs in the first were all the Legion needed, but, sparked by Joe McGlynn, Dave Ross, Dziadosz and Stew Kievet, who collected six hits for a total of 12 bases between them, they added five more in the second, two in the fourth and another pair in the fifth.
